  1. Make ready Beans
  2. Make ready Fresh pepper balls
  3. Prepare Onions
  4. Get Salt
  5. Make ready Vegetable oil
Steps to make Akara (Bean Cake):
  1. Wash beans to remove it's Peel.After washing put in a small bowl and prepare for grinding.
  2. Wash pepper balls and slice onions and add to the already washed beans.
  3. After grinding add little water "if" it's too thick.
  4. Add salt to taste and beat till it is well mixed.
  5. Heat vegetable oil with onions.
  6. Then use a smaller spoon to scoop the grinded bean into the oil.
  7. Wait till the underside has turned golden brown then flip so that the upper side can as well turn golden brown.
  8. Fry till it's golden brown all through then put in a sieve to reduce it's oil. Paper towels can also be used.
  9. Akara is ready to be served! Can be served with beverage of any kind accompanied with bread.
  10. For me hot Tea and Bread is the perfect combo.Enjoy!!!!
