The ingredients needed to make Urad Dal:
  1. Make ready 1 Cup Urad Dal
  2. Take 3 tbsp Curd
  3. Get 1 Chopped tomato
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
  5. Make ready 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  6. Make ready 1 Small piece chopped ginger
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Ghee
  8. Get leaves Some curry
  9. Prepare 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp Dhaniya Powder
  11. Get 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  12. Make ready Salt per taste
  13. Get 2 dry red chillies
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp Sugar
  15. Make ready 3-4 Pieces Cloves
  16. Make ready 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  17. Take 1/4 tsp Whole Jeera
  18. Make ready Pinch hing
  19. Get 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
Steps to make Urad Dal:
  1. In a cooker add 2 Cups water and to it add 1 tsp Salt.Add 1/4 tsp Ghee.Now add the washed Urad Dal.
  2. Now cook for 5-6 whistles.
  3. Now take Tomato,green chillies,ginger and garlic and chop all these ingredients.
  4. Now heat the ghee and add Mustard Seeds and Whole jeera,curry leaves,dry Red chillies,cloves and chopped garlic.Now add the tomato,green chillies and ginger to it.Now add to this Turmeric Powder,Dhaniya Powder and mix this all well.
  5. Now add the boiled Urad Dal and add Salt per taste alongside the curd and if you need,add some water to adjust consistency.Cover the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.Put off the star and add some coriander.Mix well.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander and now it's ready.Serve with bajra Rotla if you want.
