Instructions to make Vermicelli Rava Idli:
  1. Dry roast the semolina/ rava, vermicelli separately until light brown & allow them to cool.
  2. Mix together semolina, vermicelli, curd,grated carrot & beetroot juice.
  3. Heat oil in a small pan,add mustard seeds,chopped green chillies,grated ginger,curry leaves & saute until curry leaves become crisp.
  4. Pour the tempering to the semolina- vermicelli mixture, mix well & keep the batter aside for 30 mints.
  5. Finally add salt,eno's fruit salt to the batter,mix well & pour batter to each idli mould & steam the idlis for 15 mints on medium heat.
  6. Serve it hot with coconut chutney.
