The ingredients needed to make Fried Salted Cod:
  1. Take 400 grams salted cod (add more or less depending on how much you want)
  2. Prepare 250 ml sunflower oil, to fry
  3. Get all-purpose flour, to coat
Instructions to make Fried Salted Cod:
  1. Soak cod in cold water for approximately 24 hours prior to cooking, changing the water 3-4 times within that period.
  2. Dab in kitchen roll to remove excess water.
  3. Add enough flour in a shallow bowl to coat the fish.
  4. Cut the cod portions into smaller pieces.
  5. In a frying pan pour in the oil and heat on a medium heat.
  6. One by one coat the pieces and carefully drop into the frying pan.
  7. Fry for 3-6 minutes on each side, cooking time depends on the thickness.
  8. Remove when done and dab with kitchen paper.
  9. Serve as a starter or as a meal with chips.
