Steps to make Urad Dal Khichdi:
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Saute for 30 seconds. Add the whole garam masala and saute in medium heat till aroma came.
Add turmeric powder, chopped green chilli and grated ginger. Fry for 15 seconds and mix green peas, urad dal and rice. Add chilli powder and salt. Mix well and add - 1 and 1/2 cup water.
Close the cooker. Cook in high flame for 1 whistle. Let the pressure release naturally. - Serve hot urad dal khichdi with curd and/curry. - Thanks
