  2. Now strain it, keep aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker, add oil, heat it.
  4. Add tejpatta & dry red chilli, sauté it for a sec.
  5. Add hing & zeera, let it splutter.
  6. Now add onion sliced, stir fry it till brown. Add veggies, fry it.
  7. Add khichdi mix, stir fry it for a while. Add ginger garlic paste now.
  8. Stir fry khichdi for a while.
  9. Now add haldi & salt, stir fry it for a while.
  10. Add garam masala powder, again stir it.
  11. Now add water accordingly so as to keep the khichdi dry. Add sugar also.
  12. Place the lid, give 4 -5 whistles.
  13. Switch off the flame, take out in a serving dish.
  14. Have it with desi ghee, dahi, achaar, chutney, salad or papad.
