Coulis is a dessert fruit sauce, thinner than a syrup and not quite as sugary it's perfect for desserts. Cullis definition is - a strong clear broth of meat (as for invalids). Lucky you to have those berries available. That sounds wonderful to use them for a coulis, Gaylen!

The ingredients needed to make Berry cullis:
  1. Prepare 1-2 cups Mixed berries frozen pack(aldi)
  2. Prepare Vanila non alcohol
  3. Take Quater cup Brown suger/honey
  4. Make ready Spices(optional)
  5. Get Few tablespoons of Vinegar or lemon juice(optionsl)
  6. Get Pls note :No water aded!

Transfer to a bowl and blend briefly with a hand blender until the raspberries are puréed. Instructions to make Berry cullis:
  1. Add frozen fruits to pan and simmer while breaking down
  2. The mixture doesn't need water,only juices from the fruit and the frozen coat from fruits.add the brown suger,vanila and other optional ingreds or can leave out the optionals
  3. After thickening,taste for sourness and add honey as required,then Let mix cool before seiving well thru a good sieve
  4. Then your cullis is is ready as a lovely sauce on toppings of different recipes or can use as part of other recipes too! bismillah and enjoy
  5. Few pieces may seep in if press the sieve much,but you can avoid..and find a way to make use the left overs fruit pieces!
