  11. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon haldi (Turmeric)powder
  12. Prepare 4-5 pieces Kokum

  15. Make ready 1 teaspoon Mustard Seed
  16. Take to taste Salt
Steps to make Masoor dal Amati:
  1. Soak Masoor dal for 30 Min. Cook in pressure cooker till became soft.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seed mustard seeds, Curry patta. Add onion fry it. Add Ginger Garlic and fry till golden brown. Now add chopped tomato cook for a minute then.
  3. Now add red chilli powder, gram masala powder, dhaniya powder. sprinkle some water and fry it till oil separates from masala.
  4. Now add cooked whole - Masaor dal, Kokum and water in masala. Now cook on low flame 10 minutes. Add chopped Fresh Coriander.
  5. Serve hot with Rice.
