Hello everybody, I hope you are having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, planked salmon. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Planked Salmon is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. Planked Salmon is something that I have loved my whole life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook planked salmon using 6 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Planked Salmon:
  1. Take 1 kg salmon fillet
  2. Take 3 tbsp brown sugar
  3. Prepare 1 tsp sea salt
  4. Take 1 pinch ground black pepper
  5. Get Zest of lime (optional)
  6. Take 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions to make Planked Salmon:
  1. Soak a cedar plank in cold water for at least one hour, longer is better!
  2. Remove any pin bones from salmon, make small incisions in flesh, you can remove skin if you wish.
  3. Mix sugar, salt & pepper (and lime zest if using) together, sprinkle over salmon, wrap in cling film for 30 -45 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 190C, when hot place plank in oven, on a baking tray, for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove salmon from cling film and place, skin side down, on plank, drizzle with any liquid, sprinkle on lime juice.
  6. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked, should be slightly pink in the middle.
  7. Serve with fried potatoes and peas or green salad.
  8. Also good with wild rice.
