  15. Prepare 4 boiled and roughly mashed potatoes
  16. Take 2 tomatoes freshly pureed
  17. Take 1 tbsp ginger green chillies paste
  18. Take 2 tbsp oil
  19. Prepare 1 tsp jeera
  20. Get 1 cinnamon stick
  21. Take 3 cloves
  22. Make ready 1/4 tsp hing
  23. Take 1/4 tsp haldi
  24. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
  25. Make ready 2 tsp dhaniya powder
  26. Make ready 1 tbsp kasoorimethi
  27. Prepare to taste Salt
  28. Take as needed Water
  29. Prepare 2 whole red chillies for garnishing

Bedmi Aloo ki Sabzi is a runny potato curry that goes with Bedmi poori, the famous breakfast and snack from North India.   2. Now by adding water little by little knead a medium smooth dough, cover and keep it for 15 minutes to rest
  3. In the meantime prepare the stuffing, for this grind the urad dal into paste, grind it with little water
  4. Take out the dal paste in a bowl and add chopped ginger green chillies and heeng
  5. Heat oil for deep frying, first on high flame, then make the flame medium
  6. Now mix the dal nicely and fry small pakodas in hot oil, do not fry them completely, it should be half cooked, then take them out on an absorbant paper
  7. Let them cool down a little so that you can handle them easily with your hands
  8. Now mash the pakodas and add red chilli flakes, crushed coriander seeds, heeng, amchur powder and salt, mix nicely, the stuffing is ready
  9. Now make the aloo sabji, heat oil and add jeera, cloves and cinnamon stick, let them splutter, then add ginger green chillies paste, saute for few seconds
  10. Then add haldi, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, mix nicely, then add tomato puree
  11. Cook on low heat until the moisture evaporates
  12. Then add mashed potatoes and salt, mix well, let it cook for 5 minutes
  13. Then add water as required, let it cook on high heat until one boil, then cook on lie heat for 10 minutes
  14. Now add kasoorimethi, the sabji is ready
  15. Now start making kachori, make equal sized balls from the dough
  16. Flatten one ball a little and put some stuffing in the center, seal it properly
  17. In the meantime heat oil for deep frying, first on high flame, then make the flame medium
  18. Now roll out the stuffed ball into medium thick poori
  19. Now slowly slide the poori in the hot oil,fry on medium heat, by turning it at regular intervals, until becomes light brown and crispy
  20. In this way make all the kachoris
  21. Serve them hot with aloo ki sabji, garnish the sabji with whole red chillies
