  3. Prepare 40 g sugar

  8. Prepare 2 tbsp green tea powder
  9. Prepare 200 g red bean paste
  10. Make ready 30 g butter

  1. Mix warm water and warm milk together. Put dry yeast into the mixture and leave it for 3 mins.
  2. Mix bread flour, wheat flour, sugar, salt and green tea powder together. Pour the milk water mixture into the dry ingredients and quickly mix well to form a dough.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a pastry board, gather the dough together. Knead the dough by hands until less sticky. Fold in butter and knead until smooth. This process usually takes 15 mins.
  4. Knead the dough into a ball shape, let it rest in warm place (around 40C) for 30 min or until the dough is double in size.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Knead the dough into a ball and flatten out the dough. Wrap 25g of red bean paste into the dough and pinch to close. Repeat the process until you get 8 balls.
  6. Place the dough in warm place (40C) for 30 min again. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  7. After that, cut each dough with kitchen scissors for 5 times and you will get a flower shape dough. Repeat the process for all the dough.
  8. Place the dough in the oven at 180C and bake for 15-17min or until golden brown.
  9. When the bread is done, place them on the wire rack to cool completely.

Therefore, the recipe should be fine with just enriched bread. Learning to love the green tea-red bean combination.
