  1. Get 1/2 kg Sela rice soaked for 4 hours
  2. Get 1/4 tsp Zarda color

  6. Make ready 1 tbsp Orange peel
  7. Take 1/2 kg Sugar
  8. Take 1/2 cup Ghee
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp Kewra water
  10. Get 1 pao Khoya or Burfi
  11. Prepare 1/2 cup Ashrafis red and green chopped
  12. Get 125 gm Gulab jamun
  13. Make ready 2 roll Silver waraq (optional)
Instructions to make Colourful Khoya Zarda:
  1. Soak sela rice for 4 to 5 hours, in a pan boil water with yellow color, salt, cloves, green cardamom crushed and orange peell.
  2. Cook rice till fully done, drain and keep aside.
  3. In a pan heat 1/2 cup ghee add sugar with 1/2 cup water, keep stirring till boiling and sugar dissolves completely,
  4. Add in the boiled rice, mix well, cook on high flame uncovered for 10 minutes till water dries then lower flame and leave it on dum over a tawa for 15 minutes.
  5. Add kewra water,take out in a large platter serve garnished with shrafis, khoya, gulab jamun.
