2. Melt the the butter in a large pan then add the sugar, syrup and peanut butter and stir over a low heat until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the oats and raisins until really well mixed.
4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and push down evenly. I used a potato masher. Bake in the oven for 20 mins until lightly golden.

6. Cool for 10 mins before marking into bars using a sharp knife. Leave to cool completely before removing from the tin.
